Introducing European Waste & Recycling Efficiency to the North American Market:
Following Techval’s success in Europe and the recent beginning of the commercialization and manufacturing of its equipment in Canada through its local subsidiary Technivalor Inc., the group is enlarging its range of rotary compactors to include the New Valpak® Bin compactor.
This latest addition to the Valpak® range which already includes the standard Valpak® compactor for recyclable waste, and the Valpak® GW compactor for general waste, the Valpak® Bin compactor is a combination of the two.
Easy-to-use and cost effective. The Valpak® system offers numerous advantages: with its simplicity of use, there are no doors to open, no bale wires to attach and no need to flatten cardboard before it goes in the machine thus reducing any safety risk to the operator. The automatic system for continuous feeding ensures substantial time savings. Waste is compacted into plastic bags of up to 400 Kg or into a 2 cubic yard bin, ensuring a clean work environment.
With the same advantages of the Standard Valpak® system, the new Valpak® Bin compactor allows the user to compact different wastes with one machine. The 2 cubic yard bins are easily adapted for front end or rear end pick-up.
Until recently traditional compactors worked on the principle of one-way hydraulic compression. “The evolution of the Valpak® is comparable to what occurred in the agricultural industry”, the CEO of the company Christophe Billion explains. “Before bunches of wheat were square. Now we have gone to round bunches with the mechanization of harvesting”.
There are also exterior factors that have also contributed to the success of the Valpak®. First of all the necessity to sort and recycle waste has become an obligation for companies and second the rise in labour costs and the pressure to increase productivity are issues that all companies are faced with today.
